Heather Mak is a sustainability practitioner interest in driving transformation and innovation in sustainability.

She previously worked at Tim Hortons and at Retail Council of Canada in Toronto, SustainAbility in London, UK, and at Canadian Business for Social Responsibility in Toronto.

Heather has spoken at a number of conferences and events in North America, Europe, and Africa, writes articles, and is a self-professed information junkie and social media user.

Heather holds an MBA in Business & Sustainability from the Schulich School of Business, and a B.Com in Marketing from McGill University.

In her spare time, Heather enjoys sating her boundless curiosity through traveling to hidden enclaves, cooking new dishes, listening to music of all kinds, reading, writing, and visiting every Frank Lloyd Wright building still standing.  She also hopes to one day own an alpaca farm and travel the entire length of the Silk Road.
